Started my career in the field of materials science. When I chanced upon General Assembly's Full Stack Development Program, I went for it. It was fruitful 3 months of full time learning, would recommend it to any one who has interest delving into the world of development.

I am currently working as a software engineer in a payment company. My day to day looks something like this - stand up ceremony (updating the progress of your work from the past day), providing a bit of guidance and code-reviews (think of it as 'help clinic') and work on development (focus hours).

Word of advice: It's fine to fear the unknown, but more importantly is to equip yourself with the knowledge eventually.
