Andrew Montell commenced his media career with the launch of Out4Fame Magazine in 1999 as a photocopied zine dedicated to the local hip-hop scene in its infancy. Since those humble beginnings, Montell has launched several media enterprises including Acclaim Magazine in 2005 and more recently Archetype Media which umbrellas multiple online publications and a branded content network. In recent years Montell’s business has prospered as a result of the evolving media landscape and the emergence of branded content as a means for the publisher to control the marketing narrative. Across his group of companies, the unified focus is today firmly on leading in the field of online video publishing.
