Andrew Hedin is a Senior Associate with Bessemer Venture Partners, where he focuses on investments in healthcare.
Prior to Bessemer, Andrew worked at F-Prime Capital, Fidelity’s healthcare-focused venture capital fund. While there, he invested broadly across healthcare in early stage healthcare IT, healthcare services, biotech and medtech startups. Andrew has also worked with Health Essentials, a healthcare services company focused on providing post-acute and coordinated care to the frail elderly. Andrew began his career at Leerink Partners, where he was an Associate in the strategy consulting division of the boutique healthcare-focused firm.
Andrew holds an MBA with honors from The Wharton School, where he majored in Health Care Management and Finance, as well as a B.A. in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania, where he conducted research in both the neuroscience and psychology departments. Andrew also serves on the Steering Committee of the New England Venture Network.
