Andi Rugg is the Executive Director of Skillful, Colorado. Skillful is a partnership with LinkedIn, ASU, edX and the State of Colorado and the City of Phoenix. Skillful aspires to build a skills-based labor market in which there are many pathways to career success. Andi currently leads the team on the ground in Colorado running day to day operations with key partners and stakeholders: employers, job seekers, educators.
Prior to Skillful, Andi was at American Express, where she has held a number of leadership positions in the OPEN and Global Commercial Payments businesses. She was a management consultant with Booz & Company and a software engineer and IT project manager. She is no stranger to entrepreneurship having worked for startups ranging from digital media convergence to health insurance claims processing.
Andi has an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS from Arizona State University.
