Ana was born and raised in Lima, Peru and moved to the US in 2006 in pursuit of the American Dream. As many first generation immigrants, Ana had to first learn to speak English and spent a few years attending a community college to learn ESL. Later, Ana was able to attend Rutgers University where she graduated with a double major in Human Resources and Labor Law. Ana has over 10 years of experience in the Human Resources Management field and has always been passionate about helping companies find the right talent, and helping employees develop meaningful career paths. Ana spent the majority of her career in the NY/NJ area where she specialized in talent acquisition and human resources. A few years ago, Ana moved to Denver and currently works as an HR Business Partner at Ibotta where she supports the sales and marketing organizations. She is extremely passionate about D&I and currently leads Ibotta's internal efforts to continue to build an inclusive and diverse organization.
