Barcelona brought her a taste for illustration, New York allured her with typography, and now both disciplines live in L.A., with expressive digital lettering. Her current work feeds from both worlds and combines intricate pieces that live in contained and clean environments. Ana has been awarded with the Type Directors Club Certificate of Typographic Excellence, the Communication Arts Typography Award, the SOTA and TypeCon 2016 Prototype Competition, Nominated for the 2013 Lürzer’s Archive 200 Best Illustrators worldwide, and nominated in the Outstanding Graphic Design category in the Cinema Eye Honors. Her work has been featured in several books and publications both in the US and across Europe, including the Adobe Create magazine, Domestika, AIGA’s Eye On Design, Graffica and Etapes among others.
