Amy is a research driven designer who has a background in healthcare. She graduated from Touro University with a Doctor of Pharmacy and has worked as a pharmacist in community, hospital, and startup settings. In addition she also worked as an onsite coordinator for University of California, Davis' study abroad program in Japan, providing guidance and mentorship for students as they engage in their first overseas experience. After working for Carezone.com Pharmacy for a year and a considerable amount of soul searching she decided she wanted to solve problems on the other side of healthcare: design. After attending General Assembly's 10-week User Experience Design Immersive course she is working on side projects and continually improving her craft.
