Amir was born in Israel and moved to LA’s warmth and sunshine when he was 18, but life wasn’t always sun and shining for him. Bullied at a very young age because of his disability, Amir innately shied away from conversing with others.
Amir’s involvement with Best Buddies’ Jobs & Leadership pillars has nourished his gradual comfort to speak up for himself and for others. As an Ambassador for Best Buddies, Amir speaks on a local level about his experience with insecurity and encourages others with and without disabilities to rise above adversity and advocate for a kinder and more inclusive world.
