    Amelia is the Director of Product Marketing at Refinery29, where she builds digital user experiences and brings new products to market with robust user research. Having a background in startup, tech, and international consulting, Amelia found the perfect mix at Refinery29. She began her career as an Environmental Consultant, working on programs for top Australian retail, mining and utility companies. In 2011 she co-founded a social business, Komai, focused on building creative projects with social impact, and funded and built a music school and teacher training program in Malawi, South East Africa. Komai is now a program at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York. Amelia has an Honors degree from the University of Sydney, Australia where she majored in Anthropology and Biology and received First Class Honors for her Thesis in Ecology. Amelia is driven by her interest in how people interact with the digital and non-digital worlds, and discovering ways to infuse creativity in everyday lives.
