Amelia is a Certified Leadership Coach who helps professionals and entrepreneurs develop their emotional intelligence and authenticity to become leaders of work and life.

Amelia started her career as an environmental consultant, working with multinational corporations and local communities in Australia, Europe, South America and East Africa. In 2011 she co-founded the ‘creatives without borders’ social business, Komai, where she worked in Southeast Africa developing music education initiatives in collaboration with The New School in New York.

After six years of working in environmental and creative community development internationally, she was recruited by Refinery29 in NYC to help them understand and connect with the female millennial audience. She became the Director of Product Marketing and User Research where she built products to fulfill R29’s mission of helping women live creative lives.

At R29 Amelia was lucky enough to receive leadership coaching where she experienced first-hand its life-changing benefits and fell in love with the coaching philosophy. In 2017, she established her own coaching practice where she coaches entrepreneurs and professionals in a variety of fields including advertising, branding, design, publishing, real estate, fashion, tech and finance. Her clients have come from companies including Droga5, Google, Anomaly, The Participation Agency, Calvin Klein, Delivery Hero, Narcity Media, Joan, Matter Unlimited and Wednesday Agency.

Amelia has a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences and is certified by The International Coaching Federation (ICF) and as an EQ assessor (EQAC) by Six Seconds, The Emotional Intelligence Network. She is based in NYC and works with clients globally.
