Amber works as a Software Engineer, has created a blog, creates content for Code Her Journey, and is a Code First Girls Instructor and Brand Ambassador. Coming from a degree in Economics and Accounting, she first learned how to code through Code First girls and has gone on to win their Pay it Forward Award. She also is an active member of the Coding Black Females community and has won the Coding Black Females Star of 2021 award. Through her work encouraging more women to learn how to code and break into tech, she was also one of the winners of the Makers Women in Software Power List.
