Amar Kumar is the Senior Vice President of Product & Portfolio Management at Pearson. In this role, Amar leads a team that defines the strategy and sets the plans for the products and services used at all Connections Academy schools. Prior to Pearson, Amar was working with McKinsey and Company’s education and high-tech practices. He also served as a teacher and a principal at a rural school in Bangalore, India, which is where his passion for education was ignited.
