Amanda V. Wagner is the Community Manager for General Assembly in Orlando, FL where she has established General Assembly’s first pop-up market. Amanda has a strong track record of building successful communities. Her career has focused on both the tech and arts community where she has worked as a mentor, founder, and journalist for various organizations. Prior to working for General Assembly, Amanda was the Public Relations and Community Development Manager for Ben Franklin Technology Partners, a Pennsylvania based venture capital firm focused on economic development, where she worked with Marketing and Communications to extend Ben Franklin’s outreach while supporting a portfolio of nearly 300 companies. With a background in marketing and journalism, Amanda knows that messaging matters and has dedicated her career to creating engaging content for a multitude of audiences.

Amanda has written for outlets both locally and nationally, like VICE, Philly.com, the Daily News, and started her own art-centered publication, Curate This. In 2016 she was nominated for a Rad Girl award for the best storyteller of the year and was noted as one of the top 10 young creatives changing Philadelphia by Philly Mag. Amanda believes in fostering ecosystems by connecting people with the right resources to propel growth.
