    Amanda V. Wagner is the Community Manager for General Assembly in Orlando, FL where she has established General Assembly’s first pop-up market. Amanda has a strong track record of building successful communities. Her career has focused on both the tech and arts community where she has worked as a mentor, founder, and journalist for various organizations. Prior to working for General Assembly, Amanda was the Public Relations and Community Development Manager for Ben Franklin Technology Partners, a Pennsylvania based venture capital firm focused on economic development, where she worked with Marketing and Communications to extend Ben Franklin’s outreach while supporting a portfolio of nearly 300 companies. With a background in marketing and journalism, Amanda knows that messaging matters and has dedicated her career to creating engaging content for a multitude of audiences.

    Amanda has written for outlets both locally and nationally, like VICE, Philly.com, the Daily News, and started her own art-centered publication, Curate This. In 2016 she was nominated for a Rad Girl award for the best storyteller of the year and was noted as one of the top 10 young creatives changing Philadelphia by Philly Mag.
