Amanda Townsend is an international HR guru, keynote speaker, and leadership coach. As the leader of Global People Operations at Fivetran, a SaaS company based in the Bay Area, Amanda oversees global recruiting, HR, and workplace experience. Amanda is known for disrupting the status quo of the HR space by introducing people-first strategies that hold the industry accountable for creating equitable workplaces for all. In her previous career in experiential marketing, Amanda produced hundreds of experiences for global brands like Boeing, Microsoft, and even the POTUS. Outside of her leadership role at Fivetran, Amanda teaches workshops and speaks at international events on leadership, DEI, and career development. Amanda's mission is to empower and inspire others to make a positive impact on the world through leadership, equity, and inclusion.
