As Senior Manager of DEI at ezCater, Amaia focuses on creating an equitable and inclusive culture and work experience for all. She works closely with ezCater’s Chief People and Culture officer, Executive team, and broader People team to research and implement tools, programs, and initiatives that will eliminate opportunities for bias in systems. Amaia takes a data driven approach and translates this data and research into strategy.

Using her background in Biology and Psychology, Amaia approaches her work through a neuroscience lens. She aims to achieve better understanding of the way our brains work and how this ties into DEI, with the goal of better understanding creating connection to the work and ultimately driving long lasting change.
