Alysia Pickup
UX Designer, Hugo & Cat
After graduating from General Assembly, Alysia stayed on to begin work as a teaching assistant on the UXDi course. Her work has ranged from looking at how design can help people integrate sustainable behaviours into daily life, to creating a health tracker app that bans counting calories to increase body positivity. She has a great interest in how we can utilise technology to solve challenges related to sustainability and social impact.
Previously a Graphic Designer, she has also worked on freelance projects with international clients to create innovative solutions in graphic design, website design and advertising.
If she’s not designing, you’ll find her scrolling through Time Out looking for the best exhibitions, going to music festivals or eating Thai food.
