Alvaro has been a designer, change management and open government consultant for Australian governments and a social entrepreneur. He is currently working on a series of projects to improve the governance processes and the urban infrastructure of Australian cities, including Code for Australia, which facilitates innovation in government through collaboration, transparency and technology. He is also a Sandboxer, Centre for Sustainability and Leadership Fellow, Startup Leadership Fellow and sits on the Board of NewCo, a new enterprise to leverage technology in the education sector.
