Alistair Walsh is a PhD candidate at the Melbourne Brain Centre. His thesis is in the use of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in predicting recovery trajectories following stroke. He has previously worked for the Australian Defence Force's Science and Technology Organisation, developing Physiological Measures of Cognitive Load. Prior to working in the scientific field, Alistair was a professional musician producing electronic dance music. His special areas of interest are - Social media data mining, cryptocurrency and IoT.
