On a cold and rainy night in November 2010, Alison Vinciguerra began her blog, long distance loving, on a whim. With Midwestern sensibility and New England style, Alison explores a variety of topics, including interior design, travel, fitness, motherhood, and fashion. After building a house in coastal Rhode Island, Alison Vinciguerra finally returned to her small town roots. The Indiana native met her husband, Chris, during their college days in DC. They have one son, James, who tolerates his mother's incessant picture taking and penchant for dressing him in stripes. She works in sales by day and runs her blog by night. Alison also serves as a co-president of the Boston Bloggers association, comprised of over 1500 bloggers across New England.
