For the past three years, Alina Liao was co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of MindRight, which provides mental health coaching to youth over text message. Alina has consulted on talent strategy for education organizations through her work with EdFuel, Education Pioneers, and Roses in Concrete Public Charter School. She was vice president of an economic consulting firm where she more than doubled staff retention. Alina holds a joint MBA and Masters in Education from Stanford and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics from Yale. She has over 15 years of volunteer experience tutoring and teaching martial arts to youth. Having recently wound down her time at MindRight, Alina is now developing new ideas for leveraging technology to advance social justice and economic opportunity.
