Alicia Vasquez

Alicia Vasquez is currently the Director of Account Management at BitPay, the premier payments provider for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In her role at BitPay, Alicia manages the Company’s North American accounts, which include Microsoft, Newegg and Dish Networks. Alicia has spent most of her career in the FinTech and Payments space.

Prior to BitPay, Alicia led some of the largest U.S. accounts at Adyen, a global payments platform for many of the world’s leading companies. In her 3+ years at Adyen, Alicia played a pivotal role in expanding the Company’s North American operations and helped expand their New York office. Alicia began her career in JPMorgan’s asset management arm, managing investments for Ultra-High Net Worth clients.

She is a graduate of Amherst College, where she studied International Relations, and grew up in New York City. Alicia currently resides in sunny Santa Barbara, California and, when she isn’t keeping her eye on the crypto market, enjoys biking, cooking and making funny movies.
