Alice MacDonald is an AmSAT Certified Alexander Technique Teacher based in Brooklyn, NY and Bath, ME. She is passionate about helping people build awareness around how they can use and connect with their bodies in everyday activities. After years of being injured and having chronic pain and tension in her own body, she began studying the Alexander Technique which allowed her to embody supportive and mindful ways of moving and being in her body.
The Alexander Technique provides a process for increasing the awareness of ourselves in order to create change that can allow for an improved state of balance, ease, and flow. This process allows us to practice being in the present moment more and more of the time. You can find Alice teaching private and group sessions in New York City, Southern Maine, and online.
