Ali Hanan is founder and CEO of Creative Equals, an organisation set up to address gender diversity in the creative industries. She worked for the last 16 years as an copy/creative director at some of the adland's biggest agencies, but along the way noticed very little was changing. She worked on Creative Equals as a 'side project', then gave up her job in September last year to turn into a full-time job. Now most of the industry's top agencies, including BBH, JWT, R/GA, AKQA, Mr President, AMVBBDO and more are signed up to their 50:50 charter.
