While completing her bachelors in international business in both Spain and the U.K; Alex spent her time working and volunteering in the Urban Agriculture space. She spent two years designing and exploring the feasibility around 3D printed indoor growing units for both consumer and post-aid disaster relief. Having first hand experienced the difficulties and challenges facing the industry she decided to build Harvester. Alex is motivated by a triple bottom line approach: people, planet, as well as profit. When she is not wearing her plant pioneer hat, she helps out with marketing for the amazing community here at General Assembly.
