Alex Howley is a Program Manager at The American Association of University Women (AAUW), focused on scaling AAUW’s Pay Equity Programs: Work Smart, Work Smart Online, and Start Smart. She manages the organization’s city and state-based pay equity initiatives, including partnerships with Boston, San Francisco, Massachusetts, Kansas, and Missouri.
Before transitioning to nonprofit, Alex spent much of her career working with small to midsize startups (including General Assembly), and has adopted lean startup methods to grow AAUW’s programs and increase their impact across the country.
