I am a user experience designer, specialising in research. I am passionate about accessibility, and I believe that well designed technology can be used by everyone. I promote an evidence-based user-centerer design process.
With a background in Psychology and statistics, I have over 10 years of user research experience. I also have a background in Computer Science, giving me keen insights into technical feasibility and the limitations of technologies.
I have worked for a variety of institutions, ranging from DECIDE, UCL’s London-based business accelerator, to the NHS, working extensively with digital start-ups and educational faculties across the university.
I am also passionate about getting women into STEM subjects. I have represented women as part of the UCL Computer Science Athena SWAN group, and on the roundtable for the UK Games Industry Summit at Microsoft headquarters in 2014.
In my spare time, I like to run workshops on game making and UX, and I like to run and attend hackathons.
