Alexandra Castro is a creative professional who is well versed in all areas of branding and is passionate about the power of design. As a branding fanatic, Alexandra has dedicated her career in helping Latinx based businesses, events and organizations reach larger audiences in the digital landscape. Alexandra currently works as a Marketing Manager for a family-owned business group, overseeing authentic Mexican restaurants and an eccentric tequila lounge. Since earning her degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Depaul University, she has worked for large scale events including Fiesta del Sol and Chicago Michelada Festival. Her eight years of experience in leadership roles within the non-profit sector exemplifies her love for community work. She currently serves as the Marketing Director for Grassroots Events and as the Creative Director for México en el Corazón (Millennium Park).
