Alex Mimms is the Team Lead of Technical Recruiting at Toast, where she leads a team of 5 recruiters, and continues to help grow the Toast R&D team. Alex joined the company in June of 2016, when the company was less than 200 Toasters as the only tech recruiter and through recruiting for a combination of Product Management, UX and Engineering roles, has helped grow the company to over 1,300 people. Prior to Toast she worked at Red Hat, where she owned technical intern hiring for all of the North American teams, and learned about how global recruiting teams operate at scale.
When Alex isn’t seeking out the next addition to the Toast team, she's hanging out with her dog, Petey, working on getting her private pilot’s license, or traveling to the next country on her lengthy "must see" list.
