Alex Grant is a former IT consultant turned Ruby enthusiast, trained in the art of test-driven Rails development at Thoughtbot in Boston. His earlier programming background ranges from Java to PHP to ActionScript to Cartridge BASIC on the 1983 IBM PCjr. Alex has a side interest in game creation and has started several game projects of his own over the years – and in a few cases, even finished them.
