Alex is an experienced capital markets professional and data science leader driving digital, analytics and business transformation. Since graduating from one of GA London's inaugural Data Science Immersive courses, Alex has worked with many companies within the sports and media verticals, including advertising agency Karmarama (bought by Accenture), before returning to the financial sector where he is currently Head of Artificial Intelligence Systems at Lloyds Banking Group, the largest retail bank in the UK. He also helps mentor the next generation of data scientists, having taught the part-time data science and python programming courses as well as being an active speaker in talks and panels for the wider GA community.
