Alessia studied cognitive psychology at Rome University, then moved to England to pursue her scientific career. She later joined an international team of the best in breed neuroscientist at the University of Birmingham and the Queen’s Mary Hospital Neuroimaging Centre, gaining her PhD having studied how unconscious perception influence behaviour in normal subject and neurological patients. She then proceeded to her next challenge, technology.

She started applying her scientific approach and knowledge on software development, product strategy and analytics. In the past five years she had the chance to work in different industries and companies, from Expedia to Virgin Media to Gamesys and leading few very innovative projects around consumer behaviour, machine learning and big data applied to product innovation and development as well as marketing monetisation and programmatic buying.
