Al Chen is a solutions architect at Coda where he works with Coda's users to build the tools and applications they need to do their work effectively. Formerly a financial analyst at Google, Al learned the power of Excel through creating dashboards and writing macros to automate repetitive tasks for his job. As an Excel power user for 10+ years, Al takes his knowledge of data, analysis, and web development to build applications in Coda. Al currently teaches Excel in person at top MBA schools as well as online courses through Skillshare (over 10,000 students have taken his Excel classes online). Al participates in the Excel community by blogging, going to events, and recording a podcast (Dear Analyst) to educate and empower people to be more data-driven.
