Having previously worked as a Retail Merchandise Planner, Ajay got his first taste of programming in VBA within MS Excel. Soon Ajay started to enjoy basic programming more than managing inventory and this led him to investigate a career change. Ajay went along to a ‘Break into Coding’ talk in mid-2018 and decided to take the plunge a few months later. Since completing the Web Development Immersive at General Assembly in Melbourne, Ajay contracted as an Instructional Associate at General Assembly, got his first developer role with PoweredLocal and is now working as a Software Engineer with Linktree . Ajay works with Typescript, React and PHP.
