Aidan Morrison is the co-founder of Trendlock, a company empowering hospitality and retail operators using machine learning, statistical model ensembles and external data to bring value to the rich sales data sets that POS systems collect. Trendlock uses this data to provide sales forecasting, business insights and predictive analytics, to help businesses know when the rushes and lulls are coming.

Aidan started his journey into data science through the Young Street Initiative, where he led a small team analysing a variety public policy topics, with a focus on public finance, tax, transfers, housing, and macroeconomics. He has since spent years driving insights for corporates, small business and government alike using data science and technology.

If Aidan's not performing data magic, he's probably serving cocktails at his bar, Bat Country, a restaurant, cafe and bar inspired by the life and works of Hunter S Thompson.
