Ahmed is a creative entrepreneur, designer and developer with a passion for impact storytelling and VR. He is a two time Directors Guild Award Nominee and AIMIA Award winner for his prolific work in innovative storytelling and development. As creative director, he produced critically acclaimed internet cult hits such as the "The Tunnel" – the first feature film to be crowd funded and released commercially via BitTorrent with over 20 million downloads worldwide - and the Free Hugs Campaign - Australia’s first online viral music video spawning a worldwide movement. In his role as Creative Director and Director, he has created transformative stories for leading brands such as Accor, Qantas, Vodafone and Westpac. Recently he has worked on directing and producing That Startup Show, distributed via BitTorrent with over a million viewers worldwide. He holds a Bachelor's of Design and Master's of Design from the University of New South Wales. Ahmed is also co founder of The Stand In My Shoes Project, a VR empathy lab and documentary film.
