Adham was originally trained as an Astronomer. He relocated to the United States from Egypt for college, where he completed Bachelors and Masters degrees in Astronomy & Astrophysics. After completing his Masters, he briefly started a PhD before deciding academia wasn’t for him and he pursued a career in Data. His first job after his Masters was at Booking.com in the Netherlands, where he was a Reporting Analyst, helping build dashboards on customer service metrics. After that he spent a year and a half at Bol.com (the largest e-commerce platform in the Netherlands), where he helped build data and experimentation for the customer service innovation team. Since the end of that stint, he has been at WhatsApp as a Data Scientist on the front-facing consumer app. Outside of data and academia, he loves running and playing guitar. And he is an enthusiastic F1 fan!
