Abel worked in the TV and Music Industry in Los Angeles as an Audio Engineer for 15 years. After growing frustrated with the lack of new opportunities around the Hollywood studio scene, he began to explore a new career path in web development. In March of 2015, he enrolled in General Assembly's part-time Front-End course, and later that summer decided to change careers and enrolled in their Web Development Immersive Bootcamp. After one month, he received his first job offer as a Front-End and Hybrid mobile app developer for a start-up in the Luxury Transportation space.
Six years later, Abel is a resourceful, empathetic and assertive Product Manager, Scrum Master and User-Centric Design UX Researcher who brings people together and lead cross-functional teams to work on common goals. He loves advancing tech and making the process simpler for all to understand and get the results that align with the overall vision of the company.
