Abby Beck

For the past 10 years Abby has designed, cultivated, and curated charming user experiences. After finding her true self amidst the amazing teachers and mentors at the School of Visual arts, she applies her critical problem solving skills to projects involving publishing, retail spaces, and web and mobile products. She has worked at a range of companies and industries, ranging from right off the ground start-ups to well established companies. She has worked on solving a wide range of problems for a wide range of users and use cases such as branding, building search tools, discussion platform, onboarding flows, ad targeting tools, and content uploading and sharing flows. While she is a dedicated visual, interaction and experience designer, her passion lies in systems and simplifying complex user issues. She aspires to inspire and be inspired by other designers and artists. As well as being an extreme advocate of mentorship, giving back, and rolling up your sleeves. She also enjoys surfing, pushing the limits, and karaoke as ways to keep her creativity flowing.
