About this class

A user's first point of contact with your digital presence - be it web page, print medium, banner ad or flyer - is usually through a visual. This can take the form of a powerful photograph, or an expressive illustration or even a compelling video. Students will learn what are the different types of creative media available to them, why they matter and key features of a powerfully designed website incorporated visual media. Through visual design theory and case studies, students will also learn to see photography, illustrations and videos with a critical eye and leave having learnt to make better choices about their own work, whether in branding decisions, user experience, and bringing your digital presence to life.
