About this event

The 2nd annual Hack Together, 24 hour hackathon brings together teams of engineers, artists, and creatives to produce a work of technological artistry. Whether it's an application, interactive artwork, physical hack or creative expression of technological wizardry, participants will be encouraged to push the boundaries of technology and the spirit of innovation.

All submissions will present in front of our panel of judges including industry leaders and members of the arts and technology community.

Prizes will be awarded to submissions which are deemed exceptional in the following categories:

  • Best in Show: All submissions will be considered for this category. To be considered Best in Show, a submission must demonstrate collaborative spirit, innovation, creative thinking, and of course the wow factor!
  • Local Hack: This hack will focus on the Boston community. Submissions could be applications targeted at the local communities, works that celebrate Boston and the surrounding areas, or a hack that in some way represents our city.
  • Music Hack: This category will focus on applications or works of art with musical elements.
  • Art Hack: This category will focus on visual art, whether through an application or an interactive implementation.
