Santa Monica created a robust Sustainable City Plan (SCP) in 1994 with the objective to keep our community healthy, happy and economically vibrant. In order for the City to make the SCP goals a reality, we need the business community to continue its leadership in taking local action to protect our natural resources. Each table will receive a short presentation from a sustainability expert followed by a 40 minute discussion. Notes will be taken at each session so success stories and resources can be shared with all attendees.

Existing green businesses will walk away with a deeper knowledge and updates on city ordinances, policies, and new committees they can join. New businesses will learn how to get on the path to achieve Santa Monica Green Certification and win local awards.
