During this well-rounded panel discussion featuring some of Chicago’s best and brightest in the design world, we'll cover key events, companies, people, current issues, and career paths in the industry.

Over 17 years of experience in both General Advertising, Digital Marketing and eCommerce, working on both national and global campaigns.
Keri O'Mara is a designer, illustrator, and aspiring corgi owner who recently received her BFA in Visual Communication Design from the University of Notre Dame. She relocated from her home in upstate New York to Chicago, where she works as the Marketing Coordinator at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts at the University of Chicago. When she's not dabbling in freelance projects or making gifs, she spends her time befriending canines at PAWS Chicago and filling her sketchbook with watercolor illustrations of celebrity chefs. Her experience ranges from working for fair trade companies in both Ghana and Nepal to teaching design workshops in South Bend, IN. Keri is passionate about using design education to empower individuals with a sense of creative confidence.
Sara has spent the last nine years at Elevate developing digital strategies and creative executions for numerous clients, including the L’Oréal brands of Redken 5th Avenue NYC, Pureology, Kérastase, and Matrix, as well as Hanes, Mario Tricoci, Centro, Bloomberg, Milwaukee Tool, and Tootsie Roll. Sara now manages the growing visual design and user experience teams at Elevate and collaborates with clients in order to guide all engagements successfully through Elevate’s investigative, analytical, and creative processes. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art and English Literature from Illinois Wesleyan University.
