Content strategists work with marketing, editorial, user experience, and design teams on how to produce the best content for a brand (or independent publisher's) goals, and content strategy is a component of digital strategy that focuses on how, why, where, and when you should create and share content. During this class, you'll get an overview of how content strategy functions in the context of digital and marketing strategy while learning about the tools and methods needed for implementing a successful content strategy—as well as create a content strategy of your own.

Prereqs & Preparation
Students should have a basic knowledge of the digital publishing landscape and some familiarity with how brands are using content to further awareness goals. Please bring a laptop to class.
