About This Event

Over the next few years, computing will begin shifting into the augmented reality medium.

Your computer will become a natural extension of the body and your senses: a natural machine. We'll see new levels of creativity, productivity and collaboration. Screens will begin to disappear. And you will no longer need to be your parents’ tech support service.

Join us as Meta Senior Customer Success Engineer, Cecilia Abadie, discusses the new technologies already here, those on the horizon and how they will change the world you live in.

About the Speaker

Cecilia Abadie Photo

Senior Customer Success Engineer,
Meta

As part of the Customer Success team at Meta, Cecilia is helping re-think the way we enable people to manipulate digital objects or holograms with their hands based on neuroscience research. In the past, as Engagement Director at APX Labs, she helped bring smart glasses solutions to dozens of Fortune 500 companies in the Enterprise. Before that, as a Google Glass Community Leader, she developed cool wearable applications and evangelized about wearable computing. She studied in Uruguay South-America and holds a Master in Information Systems.

About Our Partners

Meta

Meta was founded in 2012 by Meron Gribetz, who envisioned a world in which our technology truly connected us instead of isolating us, pulling our attention away from the world and into our devices. Working with a team of renowned neuroscientists, UX experts, and digital innovators, Meta entered the augmented reality (AR) market with the first see-through glasses allowing wearers to manipulate 3D content using natural hand gestures.
