In this workshop, you'll learn how to build Python web scraping programs to programmatically navigate through a website and retrieve data in a structured format the visualize it. You'll learn how to harness Python to automate and streamline data collection from sites that require logins, have tables, and more to help make your job easier and more efficient. We'll also best practices for web scraping, so you understand when it's okay to use scraping and when you need to find an alternative data source.
About the Instructor
Max is a Part Time Data Science Instructor at General Assembly. He is the maintainer of the popular gazpacho, gif, and hickory Python packages, and the author of Personal Finance with Python. Previously, he pushed data at Borrowell and Wealthsimple.
