Event Breakdown

  • 9–9:15 a.m.: Meet the professionals — introduction for the day
  • 9:15 a.m.–12 p.m.: Deep dive into experience design and Adobe XD
  • 12–12:30 p.m.: Lunch
  • 12:30–1:30 p.m.: Testing and sharing prototypes with clients and teams
  • 1:30–4 p.m.: Creative challenge: Design a user experience
  • 4 p.m.: Wrap-up

Prereqs & Preparation

A personal laptop is required for this workshop — GA does not have laptops available for rent or use. For those on Windows, you’ll need Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit) - Version 1703. For those with Macs, you’ll need the Mac OS X 10.11 or higher. Upgrade your operating system before class, if needed. Previous knowledge of Adobe applications will be helpful but not required.

Students must download and install Adobe XD 'Starter' (FREE) before class.
