You will be responsible for managing several General Assembly courses from ideation to production to execution. You will have a key role in both instructor recruiting and curriculum development. It will be your responsibility to coordinate with our in-house instructional designer and subject matter experts to develop transformative, robust curricula for General Assembly programs that are rewarding to students and enticing to potential employers. As a Producer in charge of specific programs, you will have a hand in strategic decisions, including the prioritization of new markets, the pace of program growth and the direction of content. You should be an entrepreneur at heart, collaborative but self-directed, unafraid of failure, and highly organized.

We’re seeking an Instructional Designer to play a vital role on the Product Team at General Assembly’s New York office. You will work on various educational product initiatives focusing on technology, design, and entrepreneurship. The Instructional Designer will: work with subject matter experts to create curricula for live and online courses; review and edit rounds of educational content; work on the development of assessment plans and assessments; collaborate with designers, video producers, programmers, course producers and instructors; develop strategies setting quality standards and gathering data on our educational programming; help develop and implement our content roadmap; participate in special projects and partnerships; and integrate current pedagogical theory into all GA educational programs.
Do you have experience in education, instructional design and technology product development? Have you played a key role in developing educational technology products? Have you built assessment products and know about assessment theory and design? Do you have experience integrating educational principles into offline and online products? GA is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support one of our founders, as well as closely-tied colleagues. Daily duties include (but are not limited to) updating and maintaining calendars, managing correspondence, and coordinating travel. Candidates should be Mac-proficient, and familiar with both iCal and Google calendar. We’re looking for someone who is a quick learner, remains calm under pressure, a team player willing to pitch-in and can contribute positively to the culture and environment we’ve created.
