GA Studio provides graduates of our long-form courses and immersive programs the ability to access additional resources, work on real-world projects, and hone newly-learned skills.

    Experiential Learning

  • Self-directed Projects: Practice and self-assess your abilities while building portfolio pieces to share with prospective employers through these online resources.
  • Study Groups: Work collaboratively with current students and alumni on projects, supported and aided by a GA teaching assistant.
  • Hackathon Teams: Connect with other alumni developers and designers to spend a weekend building a project.

    Hire Education

  • Talk Shops: Connect with leading practitioners to get a first-hand account from those working in the field.
  • Getting Hired Workshops: Gain discipline-relevant resources to aid the application process (e.g. resume reviews and interview strategies).
  • Job Search Standups: Get job-search guidance through peer resource sharing and training in these weekly meetings.

    Connection to Partners

  • Meet & Greets: Showcase your work to interested companies looking to fill intern, contract, part-time, and full-time positions.
  • Apprentice Program: Get a feel for a new work environment and put your skills to use under the guidance and supervision of a mentor in the field.
