Shane Williamson is a Product Management Coach who works with product owners to create customer centric solutions using Human Centred Design principles utilising Design Thinking & Lean Startup methodologies.
Shane has worked in both the Information Technology & Telecommunication industries both in Australia & throughout South East Asia working for companies that include Microsoft, Deloitte, Optus, Hutchison 3G Australia & Telstra.
At Telstra, Shane is coaching business cloud & mobile application product teams on Telstra’s evolving customer centric development methodology to implement change management around ideation, product management & product lifecycle management.
Throughout Shane’s career he has worked on some exciting projects & initiatives such as;
· Implementing one of Australia first interactive TV trials utilising Microsoft’s WebTV service.
· Chairing the Digital TV Interoperability Standards Board.
· Technical lead for Windows ’95 launch throughout the Asia Pacific region.
· Launching an Australian first, award winning, 3G mobile application called LOC3.
· Co-founding the Sydney chapter of Mobile Monday.
Shane delivers talks & mentors on Design Thinking, Lean Startup, lean development methodologies, product management, mobile, customer centric design & presentation skills.
Residing in Sydney Australia, Shane is married with a daughter.
