Peter Knocke

Pete, just like General Assembly, is a mixed bag of design, business, and technology. Currently, he spends a portion of his time as an independent user experience consultant, building and leading interdisciplinary design teams to create positive, memorable, and beautiful experiences. With clients such as Whirlpool, Adult Swim, GE, NBC, and Dow Jones, he is always pushing to bring more clarity, transparency, and positivity in the world. Outside of consulting, Pete is a co-founder of GothamSmith, a men’s fashion line which leverages 3D-Printing to blur the line between technology and nostalgia. As a professor, Pete’s style is casual and conversational as he instructs students of all levels on the theories and processes needed to become world-class user experience designers and entrepreneurs. After 8pm, you will find Pete somewhere in the throes of the New York City wild, celebrating a great burger, a smokey whiskey, or underground dance party.
